Sugar Land Cultural Kite Festival 2017

On Saturday March 4, 2017 the City of Sugar Land will host the 8th Annual Sugar Land Cultural Kite Festival at Sugar Land’s brand new Brazos River Park.  This is a new location, so please check out the map at the bottom of this page.  Some online maps may not show the new address, 18427

Bagley Pecan Harvest Festival

The City of Richmond and West Fort Bend Management District are reinstating the Pecan Harvest Festival to highlight the rich history of Bagley Pecans.  Celebrating the season’s harvest of pecans,  stately pecan trees of which are ubiquitous to the area.  Vendors and activities will be at the festival from 1:00- 6:00 pm, Sunday, November 20th.

Kempner HS Performance: “The Woman in Black”

I. H. Kempner High School’s Catwalk Theatrical Company will be hosting four showings of a stage adaptation of The Woman in Black, starting Nov. 10, in their auditorium at 14777 Voss Rd. 80th Annual Ft. Bend County Fair Corrals Huge Crowd

The 80th annual Fort Bend County Fair, hosted at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds in Rosenberg, Texas, drew in 180,000 attendees during its 10-day run from September 23rd to October 2nd.  With dozens of events and attractions put on by the Fort Bend County Fair Association, it’s no wonder the fair draws such large crowds.
